5. Advance Food Program payments to new participants in the CACFP to help them financially through their first month.

6. Reaching Out to Providers Endowment Fund: emergency funds for certified home and child care providers facing major illnesses, catastrophic accidents, or temporary physical impairment.

7. Amber Long Memorial Scholarships: Free scholarships awarded to providers annually at NCD's Statewide Child Care Conference.

8. Extensive child care training opportunities through a statewide conference each August, 16 county workshops in the spring, and training videos.

9. Technical Assistance to help you promote your program. Free flyers are offered to help you recruit more children.

10. Free handbook designed to guide you through the process of opening and operating your own child care business.

11. Free child care record keeping calendar, provider handbook, tax guide, and nutrition education materials.

12. Five - $100.00 scholarships awarded annually for NCD, Inc. CACFP participants to attend regional or national child care conferences.
